Alec Schreck (owner)

Alec has worked as a reporter, photojournalist, editor, producer, and video journalist.  He has either been nominated for or won an Emmy or Emma from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for each of those roles. Prior to becoming a journalist, Alec worked with NYC business owners in the ‘90s. He became inspired by customers’ stories of hardships and triumphs while building their American Dreams. 

Alec moved from NYC to the West Coast in 1999 and began volunteering for community media where he taught himself to shoot and edit.  Two years later, at an Associated Press reporter camp in Los Angeles, he caught the TV news bug and was hired to work by CBS in Hollywood. Since then, he has worked in various television markets throughout the US and now lives just outside of Washington D.C.
